Manage My Health
Welcome to our new patient portal. It was activated on 5/12/22. Here is the link to the Manage My Health portal: portal.managemyhealth.co.nz/m/easybooking/95809.
Please follow the online instructions to complete your registration.
You can book appointments, request prescriptions, and view lab results.
If you have problems, please contact reception and we can forward you issue onto the help desk if we cannot fix it ourselves.
You will receive a confirmation following booking an appointment. If you do not receive the confirmation the appointment has not been booked.
Prescriptions
A gentle reminder to order your repeat prescriptions prior to running out of medication, if at all possible. We have a two working day (48 hours) turn around from receiving the request, this allows for time for the prescribing doctor to be on duty. Scripts will continue to be sent directly to your pharmacy, they cannot be collected at the practice. A repeat script is $20.00 and an urgent request (needed the same day) the fee is $30.00. If you want an urgent script (i.e. on the day) please phone before midday and ask for an urgent script.
Updating information
Reception staff continue to update our records. You may be asked for more information when you phone or when you come into the practice, we may email you or post out forms to be returned. The information we are updating is: address, email, cell phone number, next of kin, occupation, ethnicity and full enrolment forms. We have some information update forms at reception for patients to use when any details change. Please complete and hand to the receptionist.
Work and Income ZERO DATA.
For some New Zealanders, the cost of mobile data can be a barrier to accessing essential health and wellbeing information and digital health services. Those who cannot access information and services often have the highest need.
Zero Data is a joint initiative that removes this barrier by providing free access to the websites for health, social services, education, housing and more from your smart phone. Zero Data is available to anyone using a mobile device connected to the Spark, Skinny, One NZ, 2degrees, Warehouse Mobile, Slingshot or Orcon mobile networks.
Feedback
Riccarton Medical prides itself on the quality of care we deliver to our patients. As such, we want to improve where possible. To help us continually improve, we welcome your thoughts and opinions. Receiving feedback, both positive and negative from our patients is important. In the waiting room you will see some feedback forms and a small box to collect the forms. We will then discuss the feedback at our meetings and any new initiatives will be reported on the noticeboard and on the website.
Patient Experience Survey
Thank you to the patients who participate in the regular surveys when they are sent out.
The survey results give us a glimpse of how things are going at a point of time and it is a way for us to understand how you feel about many areas of the service we provide and how we deliver that service. We then use the information to work towards improving the quality of the service we provide you.
Patient test results
If you have had any blood tests or other medical related tests please note:
All results are checked by the doctor when they are received. You are welcome to phone the practice for the results. We generally only contact you if there is something to be followed up. You can also check the patient portal MANAGE MY HEALTH for filed results. Reception can help you sign up for the patient portal.
